Nano and Me

So, it's November fourth, and Nanowrimo is upon us. National Writing Month calls on participants to write about 150 pages (50,000 words). Last year I did Nanowrimo halved, set a goal of 800 words a day and stuck to that. I was continuing Mabel, and I wanted to write chronically and focus on the quality. Over quantity anyway.

I told myself I would do a full Nanowrimo this year after finishing Mabel, but the days are ticking by and I'm still working on my finale. Mabel takes priority. But I really want to finish this week and shift gears onto another story before I start editing in December.

Got a couple Nanowrimo ideas: A retelling of The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, a novella called The Dueling Orchestra... But I don't know if I'll get to them.
